# Kadwood Studio — Support

Kadwood Studio is the companion app for stylists at Kadwood Atelier. It records a fitting, files what was said into notes and to-dos, and shows the day's bookings alongside your own calendar.

The app needs a Kadwood account. Access is by invitation, and it is not available to the public.

## Getting help

Email **accounts@kadwood.com**. Include the version shown at the bottom of Settings, which tells us exactly which build you are on.

We answer within two business days.

## Signing in

Enter your Kadwood email address and we send you a six-digit code. Codes last ten minutes. If one does not arrive, check your junk folder, then request another.

Only addresses issued by Kadwood can sign in.

## Recording a fitting

Tap the dial to start, tap again to stop. Your words appear on screen as you speak.

A recording has no length limit. It uploads in short pieces while you talk, so a long fitting is already saved by the time you stop.

**Recording works without signal.** Audio is held on the phone and sent when you are back in range. Leaving the screen, locking the phone or losing reception does not lose the recording.

If a call comes in, recording stops and keeps everything said up to that point.

## Calendars, reminders and weather

Kadwood Studio reads your calendars and reminders on the phone and shows them beside Kadwood work. **None of it is sent to Kadwood.** Choose which calendars appear in Settings.

Weather needs location access. Decline it and the app simply shows no weather.

## Permissions

| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Microphone | Recording fittings |
| Speech recognition | Showing your words on screen as you talk |
| Calendars and reminders | Reading your day. Never sent to Kadwood |
| Location | Weather for the day you are looking at |
| Face ID | Unlocking the app, if you turn it on |

Each is asked for where it is used, not at first launch. You can change any of them in the iPhone Settings app.
